COSTFree

If you have unlocked the Nightborne allied race, create or select a Nightborne character.
Take that character to First Arcanist Thalyssra in Shal’Aran, Suramar. Open her vendor window: Arcanist’s Manasaber is available for free.
Learn the mount and return to your paladin: the collection is shared.
Standard route: complete the Suramar story and Insurrection, accept The Nighthold: Lord of the Shadow Council, and kill Gul’dan in the Nighthold.
Complete the related quests, including The Eye of Aman’Thul and Fate of the Nightborne, following markers to Oculeth / Thalyssra. The latter awards the mount.

Model: Warcraft Mounts / Blizzard Entertainment. Guide images are credited individually.

Before starting

Thalyssra’s free purchase is specifically for a Nightborne character. This option may not appear on a paladin of another race.
Do not confuse Arcanist’s Manasaber with the racial Nightborne Manasaber. Older Legion guides may describe weekly restrictions that no longer apply.
