How to obtain Kinetic Ankle Primers

Auction house → Midnight engineering boots crafting order

Search the auction house for Kinetic Ankle Primers; the screenshot’s version (+5 difficulty) is item 248133.
A paladin needs engineering plate boots: Thalassian Competitor’s Plate Dunkers or Aetherlume Stompers. Regular blacksmithing/conquest boots will not work.
In the order, add Primers to the appropriate optional reagent slot during crafting/recrafting. It is not a scroll applied to any boots.
Confirm the required reagent quality and the current season’s PvP reagent with the crafter for combat boots. A separate pair is more sensible for fun.

Before starting

The listed +5 affects crafting difficulty, not jump strength. Use on every ordinary battleground map is unconfirmed; players report it is prohibited in rated PvP. “Outdoors” alone does not guarantee it works.
The old guide shows plate boots. For a mage/priest/hunter, choose the appropriate engineering armor type instead of these plate item names.
