How to obtain Ashes of Al’ar

Outland → Netherstorm → Tempest Keep: The Eye

Travel to Netherstorm and enter the central raid ship The Eye at Tempest Keep.
Reach Kael’thas Sunstrider and complete every phase of his encounter.
Loot the boss: you need the Ashes of Al’ar item, not loot from the boss Al’ar.
If the item does not drop, repeat after the raid’s weekly reset; other characters provide separate attempts.
