How to obtain Ebonchill • base appearance

Dalaran in the Broken Isles → Legion class quest chain

On the appropriate class, complete the Legion introduction to Dalaran in the Broken Isles and unlock the class hall.
Accept Finding Ebonchill from Meryl Felstorm, investigate the records of Arrexis, and complete the scenario to recover the staff from Balaadur.
Obtain the original artifact and unlock its first base color. That is the one pictured.
Apply the appearance at a transmogrifier. Additional forms and colors have their own requirements on the artifact page.

Before starting

The appearance is only available to characters of its class. The artifact’s historical specialization: Frost.
The base appearance is currently obtainable. The old Mage Tower challenges are not required here; their original weapon rewards are unavailable to new characters.
